Today began as most of many days do
Today I woke, a tad bit hungover

Opened my eyes, rubbed my head
Said F+-k feeling like S-+t as I stretched out my shoulders

Hollered out a great "O" than stared off blankly into space
As I shook off my dreamstate & surveyed my surroundings

Firmly grounded hovering suspended
In between Astral & Reallity

I Took in a deep half a§§ blessed somewhat agitated breath
Then Let out a meek frustrated f÷×k= the dumb s()t sigh

Rocked myself the rest of the way 3/4's awake
Then strolled into a roll into a crawl out of bed

Back into the fold
Back into the mold

Fighting faith
Fighting fate

Riding waves
Riding ways

Making means
Making mean

Just trying whole he(a)r(d)tedly
Too make my way too the sink

Brush my teeth shake off & forget
Start anew start a new today & dismiss

The past & its shadows chasing after & ahead of me
Everlasting foreshadowing every instance & moment

Before & After encapsuling
Tackleing me no matter what move I make

See there was a day
There is a day for each and every one of us

Where we live unknowing & free
From this b/\*h of a truths embrace

In our youth fate is new and untangled with
In our youth fate is viewed as some great grand gameplan

Follow the rules follow gawds path mind your ps & qs
Follows these truths & all things great grand & good

Shall be laid out before you
Shall be yours thru hard work and dedication

This tho is not necessarily so
Believing this plays you right into fates hands

The day I saw fate
Made me devastatingly cringe

In a flash in an instance
Time slowed down stopped and came to a halt

I was in complete & total control of everything
Except for the outcomes & repercussions

Cause & Effect
My (in)actions would have on the world that surrounds me

With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility
It was in this moment I FLINCHED

The world stopped all of everything slowed
Stalled & came to a screeching halt

Fate revealed himself & I saw in totality
All outcome & possibility MINUS 1

From there on I've lived in Fates Wake
Always on the lookout

Like a Lion or Gazelle
Like Plankton or a Whale

Kill or be killed be killed or kill
Live or die die or live

Life's black or white
Black & white makes grey

Shadows cant see shadows
Hidden in plain sight

So into the grey I ventured
And so in the grey I found myself

I am e- fate is p+
Life is = Botswan
