The Day
The Day
(of what importance can one day be?)
Written: by Miracle man

On August 27th nineteen sixty eight
I beheld my face in a ripple less pool;
what I saw triggered change and a new life start.
At the cross, my sin was bartered,
For God’s forgiveness.
While salvation for my transgressions
came to me without cost;
The sin covering price was borne by Jesus
who was wounded, despised and rejected of men.
HE willingly became the supreme sacrifice for mankind
When HE declared “it is finished”,
and gave up the ghost.
