The Dark Poet
The racist hides his views beneath his wit.
A mask he hopes will hide his darker side
once slipped his vision of future revealed.
Bards darker side laid bare for all to see.
No humour hidden in such dark expression.
just hatred there, within the writers pen.
Your prejudices have no place in poetry.
release your inherent humanity.
1st ever go at blank verse, Iambic pentameter, lines 3 and 7 have an extra syllable
which I believe is allowed . please tell me if not correct as never done before
