The Curse of Conquerors Past, Part Ii

...Khan Williamson, for his troops called him that now, split his forces and swarmed in from the west, million of Uighurs joined him for revenge, and all in his path could quickly attest That if you surrendered to his great horde he’d let you live, and even keep your wife, but you had to join him, or he’d let loose, he’d take your womenfolk and end your life. The Chinese army won some small battles, but the numbers were too great to stop, the army could not be everywhere at once, and on all fronts the horde pillaged and robbed. The Khan did loose millions, but gained millions more, burned to the ground all China’s industry, with that they could not keep up the fight, or support a modern military. In the end the only thing the commies kept was a small bit of land around Beijing, and only did that because they threatened to let loose with indiscriminate nuking. Williamson didn’t seem to want to risk that, but it did not keep him quiet for long, his force was enormous, it had to be fed, not easy when you’re fifty million strong. At this point in his horrific conquest nearly two hundred million souls had died, he marched southeast, looking at India, the thrill of a new campaign in his eyes… Indian prepared, determined to fight, drafted millions, but no victory earned, history just repeated itself there, the northern half of the country did burn. Then Iran claimed that Allah stood with them, that victory would be theirs, without doubt, until Khan Williamson besieged the town, he torched it all, and let no one get out. And he did all of this in just two years, what remained of the world was quite alarmed, the horde had grown to seventy million, they ate barren every city and farm. They had to keep moving; Europe, the Mid-east… all were open to them with a clear path, Africa had not the strength to resist, if Khan went south the people there couldn’t last. Many folks looked to the United States to cross the oceans, save the old world again, but the president then was a lefty type, and all but openly sided with them. Every day that action was not taken the Khan’s big army just grew more and more, people were dreading they’d need the big guns, that to stop him there’d be nuclear war… I was retired, but looked at the world and decided that I couldn’t sit still, if the horde was too strong, I’d strike for the head; yes, Khan Williamson would have to be killed... CONTINUES IN PART III.
