The Creating Word

Breath your essence into my withered form
Speak the creating word let formation start
Speak and let this dry earth sprout forth

Beautiful flowers of all nature and charm
Dandelions lilies violets roses and orchids
Let butterflies and humming birds rejoice

Let them be a pleasing sight to you
Let them be pleasing to behold by all
Let this dried up valley blossom again

Speak the prophetic word that ushers life
For you make all things beautiful in time
In due time you bring joy to your servant

Let the heart of your servant rejoice
Let him rejoice with joy and happiness
For behold you have remembered him

He never forget us although we many times are oblivious to His presence my dear friend, Lewis! Your poem is filled with the spirit of our Lord and it is a pity that not many take advantage of your inspiring writing. For what it worth though, a huge seven from me my friend!
