The Covid-19 Poem

Covid-19 did not catch the Lord by                      surprise,           for all times lays bare before                      His all-seeing eyes;    the pandemic may have changed our lives forever,  but there is a God who changeth never;                  we are overwhelmed         by the massiveness  of the trees,                   but trust in the One             who the entire forest sees;             the workings of the Enemy               brings sadness and fear,               and some has wondered,                      doesn't God care?              but I know the God I serve,                      know of His love,           His mercy and infinite grace,                          and I know         He sees  the tears on every face;                      the ravages of sin     has brought much sorrow and pain and God has wrongly bore the blame, but      what our finite minds see as a loss,            Infinite deems a brief repass,                  but it won't be long now                    before all will know,    the love and wisdom which led us so,                             for soon       sin will have played its final hand,            it's final hurt on "fallen-man,"       seen in all its ugliness and shame,          many shall shed its cruel claim,  and embrace the name of Christ instead,  whose precious blood for all was shed;             it's almost time for the end                       of all the wrong,                       when the saints             shall sing redemption's song,           then we will see God's wisdom                         in all we bore,          and know HIS love forevermore!
