The Cosmic Flow
As the stars blazed out their fiery salute ---
I stood transfixed ---
As if I were a statue ---
Meteors began to sail past the moon's image ---
Which brought me back into motion ---
Racing towards an open field,
I felt the cosmic flow of the event horizon ---
Then suddenly the universe seemed to explode,
As one of the meteors fell
from the abyss of outer space ---
Like a sniper's bullet,
Striking it's target...ME.
