The comfort of love Knowing, your loved one is there Through anything that happens A team you are and will be Hello and goodbye, Always returning home The comfort of love Acceptance, consistency, Even when apart, not alone When stars sparkle, In the dark skies at night, Smiles emerge, with no fears in sight Moonlit kisses with soft embraces - Never Forgotten - The comfort of love Lets nothing be stolen Lets nothing be erased Returned by the touch of a face In loving, cupped hands Where it can never be replaced Home is not empty anymore But, filled with the comfort of love - For Evermore - A knowing, that will never be gone Shared equally in the rising, - Of every dawn - Heidi Sands 7/8/18
