The Clown Who Killed Himself

His smile was painted on
His soul was drained of life’s essence
Into the ring he performed
Magical was his smile
He performed to the world
And the world laughed
As he cried inside
For later would come
Bloody hell
And flow it would
The crowds went home
To the comforts of love
The clown stayed on
Tormented in darkness
As the blood flowed
He found his peace

Clowns ware a mask this is so true, and most people think they live in a world of laughter but behind the mask their is a human being whom must have love and laughter in his life. This write is lovely and sad at the same time. i enjoyed seeing behind this clowns mask and wish the ending was happier. cheri
