It is so grim- that sudden thunderstorm that kills calm feelings- makes one gasp aloud; instills the threat of doom to then reform a happy heart to darken neath its shroud. The gloomy, blackened sky thunders its booms; this huge, black monster, no one can control- while wistful lightning lashes out and zooms with downward shocks at targets as its goal. Away from windows, I resign and hide. Depression stirs my melancholy view, as giant warring clouds above collide destroying happy thoughts of peaceful blue. And there, withdrawn, I stay till I know when the battle's done- and Sun will rule again.

Enjoyed the thunder in this write. You certainly covered all the required bases, didn't you? Were you really with drawn or just subdued?
