The city ,oh the city

The city, oh the city, A place of endless noise, Where people rush and hurry, And cars replace the joys. The city, oh the city, A place of endless light, Where people work and worry, And dreams are out of sight. The city, oh the city, A place of endless sound, Where people laugh and pity, And love is seldom found. The city, oh the city, A place of endless pain, Where people live and pity, And hope is all in vain. The city, oh the city, A place of endless strife, Where people fight and pity, And death is part of life
