The Circle of Love

He came and sat near me And the evening sky turned pink Nameless emotions happy and sad Flowed thru the labyrinths of my veins As our hearts thundered together Strange are the aches of this heart Without them, it won’t survive Some shine like diamonds While some are silent like pearls As evening lifted its veil Smoke rose from my heart And passed thru his still form My eyelids fluttered and blinked The tears away That stopped on his lashes The circle of love was complete 21/07/2011
