The Circle of Life

aging, an odd space
aging can be a struggle
see it as your chance to grow

or choose to see it
as loss, and illness, and strife  
best lived in grateful dignity

I usually see aging as a blessing, this month it has been such a struggle I can certainly relate to this one, Patti.

Interesting, interesting, very interesting... In the throes of some pretty severe pain, I myself (still) see it aging as a chance to grow--- as well as illness and strife...lived in graceful dignity. Both are important. Thank you for a thought-provoking write, my friend. :) gw

Being a "nana", it's amazing how one either succumbs to pain, or honestly, you go right through it..and come out the better. I prefer to not make a "thing" out of my pain. Hello? It's there~ I accept if. Pain is a teacher, Panagiota )))
