The Church In the Valley

the church in the valley
with its steeple high
invites all to worship
on Sunday morn
as worshippers enter its
friendly double doors
welcoming all to its
sanctuary as they are
seated to hear the sermon
of the pastor who prays
will reach the unsaved
and afterwards invites all
to the altar to pray on their
bended knees for forgiveness
and thankfulness while the
choir softly sings a hymn
as a tribute to our Lord, Jesus
causing teary eyes of joy
and sadness as others
raise their arms in reverence
to emphasize their belief and
faith as Christians worship together
within the church in the valley
