The Chronicles of Seeing the Unseen -Part 1-

I crave for peace and love I crave for peace and love Not chaos and destruction Not chaos and destruction I need construction... I need help...God, I want help... I'm ushed in the margins My ideas thrown into a million garbins People have fins And I have scales They don't see unique... They only see a glassless geek They seek not His TRUTH... They only look after lies... And their fantasy goodbyes End the beginning of the wicked times... Let time unwind for a time... The spotlight shouldn't always be on you It should be on Him...Jesus...Mary...David... James...Jonah...Goliath...and all of the above Learning lessons isn't easy... But, God's answers surely are there I want to be set free like a Jerusalem bug so freely... Gleely...gaily...frankly, I wish I wasn't me... But I am...me... So...what?

I must say you have seen quite a life at 18...I can feel the depth and maturity in your work...I have started writing only 3 months ago...I will take inspiration from you and will bother you for help in days to come..... "I'm only 18 years old and I wrote over a thousand poems and songs" << that's quite impressive, my friend! I started writing when I was 13, but didn't really come into my own until I was 15 ... and then changed yet again when I was 18. Writing changes so often, it's just like life.

Hope your recover soon from whatever sickness you are dealing with ... Your sister is very sweet and an awesome poet. Nice to know I'm not the only youngin' on the site ... lol. Thank you! :) Well, illnesses have been passed around, especially this winter...unfortunately, the virus is still there, so I am keeping myself cozy and clean best I can. :) Yes, she is a wonderful poet. She reads me her work all the time. I get inspired by her, reading to me for many years...she writes short stories; in addition, she's awesome.

An introspective, as well as spiritual, poem from you Joshua. In the eyes of God we are all unique, and no two individuals are the same ... we all have something to offer. "Gleely...gaily...frankly, I wish I wasn't me... But I am...me... So...what?" ... we all have our down days, but it feels as though, what briefly I know of you, you practice humility which is one of the greatest virtues you can have. Pleasant to get a peak at your soul-searching musings.

Hello Timothy Hicks. I am related to Laura Breidenthal on here (spoiler alert). My pen name on here is Jonah, named after the story about Jonah in biblical times. :) I have noticed that God has been a gracious, glorious Father to me all throughout my years on Earth.

I am going through some sickness this winter and it really isn't easy to stay healthy, especially when we are so distracted by lusts that mean nothing in the long run. I do practice humility or I wish I had more of it rather. It's all about having patience and self-control throughout the day.
