The Cherry Blossom Weep
Sunburnt kisses soothing drenched down
bowing limbs wind torn and tossed
frozen tips at times
Uprooted and reckless
broken and helpless
thinned out tops shaking
with every frigid breath
battling another storm
with Autumn approaching
how will I ever stay warm
Black knots haunt
the cherry blossom weep
I worry about the setting sun
as she smothers the pain
will I ever be me again
