Oh! I remember those day's my friend! Not to many good memories for me though, I always seemed to fall asleep on guard duty LOL

ha! don't know if you actually witnessed this, gershon, but in every case of the changing of the guard i've seen, the guards would not crack a smile or change their expression at all. i love the idea of one of them winking!

Yeah. You're right. They're SO straight-laced at the palace. On the other hand, I've seen marches here and in Ukraine, where one or two of the soldiers will wink quickly... Thanks for the comment, Ilene. Ciao, Gershon
