They say wake up and smell the roses, but your tuberose and chocolate must be divine. A very nice haiku Probir, full of meaning and hidden meaning... Maria

Interesting, did you know the tuberose is a plant that does not grow in the wild, and apart from its connection with perfume it also has something to do with chocolate. i smell the morning, those chains, daunting... Mick

In several poems of mine I have used tuberose for the chocolate ... Very common symbol ... I curse the chains ... thank you for reading ... the very word hai refers to something unusual, which, I am sure you know ...

The third line of a haiku may initially look intriguing but on appreciation must look interesting and beautiful or else it is far from the haiku ... thanks for reading, Cheryl ...
