The Caves of Jupiter Part 3 Finale

III. Then he did say; "And all of the power of all of the prayers of all of the dreams of all of the people who suffered and died that forgotten day, are now contained in the very sword you carry at your side. Go now unto the court of the evil one who does call himself King Daeth for he will find great pleasure in you and his search will be at an end. But let not his hand grasp onto the sword at your side for you shall have great need of it. But if his hand does grasp the sword, you shall surely be thrown into the pit." And she did inquire unto her father Carlos, but how shall I know when to kill the evil king? And he did say unto her, "You will know." And when she did make her way unto the numbers of the maidens each and every one of them did marvel at her vessel, for its' likeness had not been seen except to her father and her fathers father. And the maidens did say unto her "How is it that you have dropped into our midst from out of the sky?" And some others did inquire to her "What manner of a beast is it that delivers you even unto the court of the king?" And they did lay their hands onto the vessel for it had great beauty. And she did reply unto them "On the wings of a hawk come I." But they understood it not. Then sayeth the prince, whose name is Dariux, "I have had a great dream of you that you have come to deliver your own from out of the hands of evil." And she said, "I have thus come." And lo, when the great king of ten thousand years did hear of her and of her great beauty, he did say unto his son, who was busy at numbering, "Go ye unto this Mayla who has come from out of the hill country, so that I might bring my search to an end." But Dariux filled with rage for he was a jealous man and had set his very own design about the beauty of Mayla. And so he did go into the courtyard and he did find Angelina who was also of great beauty, and he did take her unto his father and did say, "This be the beauty you have requested." And his father did reply unto his son, "Has someone lied to you about the wisdom of your father? Tell me who this is, so that I might throw him to the debtors pit this day." But his son could not reply and so did then return to the court and sought out the maiden whichof his father did request. And he did say unto her "Are there not many hiding places among the hills from whence you have come?" And she did say "Yea," then he did ask unto her "Let us go and lay forever in one of the caves where surely even the magic of my father will not see." But she then replied, "I have not come for love, but for death." IV. Then the young man did say unto her "I must join you forever and destroy my very own father for his evil ways." and she did answer and say "My great beauty shall reward you well." And then all at a once the sword at her side did glow and let out a wonderful sound, a sound like they had not ever heard before, and it was the sound of the prayers of millions upon millions of souls lost in the cyberspace. And she did take his hand, for she now knew of his great love of her, and she did say "It is our time." And at the very same time that they became one against the king, the king had the vision and he knew that she was come and to destroy him. And he did lay in wait. Then when they did appear into his doorway, she did say unto the great king "Forget thy rage, for it is your very head that my sword does need to cut off so as to avenge the deaths of all of the maidens you have surely thrown into the pit." And the king did laugh for his sword had great powers. And she did cut his arm away, but did drop her own sword and onto the floor it fell. And the king did say, "...Yea, even in my great pain that you have wreaked upon me, surely I shall put you to death and with your very own sword!" But she said to touch it not. Then the king did reply "I have the will to live even unto ten thousand years. What have you but yourselves to cling unto?" And his son did say, "Our lives may be short but the love we have for one another will outlive your ten thousand years by ten thousand years more." So the king did laugh but his son took her sword and did thrust it into the heart of his father so that he did die. And when they were joined, the maiden from the hills and the son of the evil king, together they did reign on Jupiter and rule the cyberspace for fifty and seven years. But they were filled. © Ron Wilson Arbuthnot aka Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet copyright 1996 Vee B'Dosa
