The Cave
For an instant, one spark
can light up the cave
where memories hide
Some that were saved
from moments that died
Once painted by darkness
they will shine like a star
Shooting star moments
we dimly recall
They'll scurry away
In a hurry they're gone
to crawl backwards in time
deep into the core
swallowed once more
by the dark of the lime
