The Burden is Light
I go to your house,
and make tea.
Talk to me.
I clean your dishes.
I mop the floor.
I start dinner.
I am here.
My life,
it has things wrong.
Yet, it is you,
you that is suffering.
I see that.
So I lift the weight…
all of it…
as I can carry,
to share what it is,
that I can.
There is nothing more,
I can do…
to shift my load.
I am tired.
Yet I can see,
that by helping you,
I am helping me.
Together,
the load…
has no weight,
at all.
