The Breath Taking ( Part One )
The Breath Taking
This clean air we breathe hides a murdering
a disguised choking filled with acids insidious burning
slow corrosion of lung and tree
infecting the inviting honesty
of the rose
The breath taking
Oil leaking death is approaching
spreading its deadly secret
through renowned civilised plasticoncrete
falling poisons reside in the clouds
breathing photochemicals
there is no truth in reflecting blues
of rain puddles
more a bile transpired sheen
from gas puking chimneys
vomiting chemical shrouds onto the greenery
The breath taking
Suckling in tune on these electrified teats
of this callous immaculate conception
humanity slowly bleeds from its own dead lakes
of industrial landfilled waste
dumped the luxury of living green
enslavement to the machine
flows pollutant through malicious veins
that were once river arteries
now feeding cursed worlds of trash desolation
driving the Earth to the point of breaking
The breath taking
Fools
sipping this predetermined nectar of refining
predicting in the next generation
a steady use for contaminating
thinking only in terms of the quality
and immediate lining
in the pockets of their progressive suites
enclosed in safe penthouse vampire worlds
securely dreaming the corporate design
belching as they go the oil slick bigotry
choosing filth
to drink the waters of purity
condemning all which they no longer understand
their cold steel puppets of cancer
grow tall with the eyes of skyscrapers
which view from the edge of this abyss
and avoid the extinct they no longer miss
The breath taking !
