The Breath of Life
As we be breathed in the dawn’s early light
The sheath of our night is a victory away
The truth in our voice is a sword that is bright
By the choice to forgive in the heat of the day
Oh, take in the breath of a new morning sent
Bask in the breeze of an ease in your day
Boil and bake to the balm of content
Sleep in the peace of a happy, new way
The best part of life is the husband or wife
Who is firm with your daughter or son
The end of your strife is the mend in your life
By the calm of the peace that is won.
