The Break-Up

In this relationship I put in so much. And still I get nothing back. You do what you want, you continue to think it's all about you. It takes two people to make a relationship work. One can't do it alone. As I lay here and reminsce on the truth I know everything that we've been through was untrue. Our relationship has been built on a lie from the very start. I see I'ma have to upgrade you. Find me someone better. If you want the green light here it goes...you can go on. Continue to do you, creep all alone. I won't be on your arm continuing to look like a fool on your chain of fools. I love you, I do. But I don't deserve what you put me through. I'll leave you alone. I just gotta get you out my heart, mind, and soul. I can do without you. Needless to say I gotta shake you out of my system. If I don't I'd still be a fool for you. Once upon a time we added you and I and we got us. Now I must subtract me from you and watch you stand alone. Watch you be a fool for yourself.
