The Birds

Went to the store for some things I forgot,
driving into the Walmart parking lot,
spied tons of seagulls,
so ran like a bull,
a passerby looking like Alfred Hitchcock.

LOL...I had this happen, one time, on a walk. Geese all over the street! Respectfully, I went the other way! I think I saw Hitchcock walk by, as well. After all, he always shows up :) Smiling at your poem, Cheryl! I can see you running like a bull p!

Its strange because it makes you wonder why they would "hang out" at a Walmart parking lot; I think I would have preferred them to be geese! Glad you liked it and thanks for kind visit~Che :)

Haha! Good limerick, Cheryl. Grant Wood's "American Gothic" is one of my very favorite American paintings! I've written a few Clerihews about it. Thanks for the stop by. / M
