12/12/2023 Be sure that you stay up all night? Comment to everyone with a poem in sight. This way, people think you really care! You are a deer in pride’s headlights, do be aware.. You are just a number count in their book A fish caught by a glowing comment’s hook They are like traps for unaware poet bears. We think we are loved, but there is nobody there! Like fish, we get caught by commen’s hooks. Tis a better idea to read many great books! Remember, not being online is no great sin. Run in the snow,be with family, love the skin you are in! ~ Happy Holidays ~

I'd be an "Also Ran" at the track Pangie. LOL. I run sprints, not marathons. So many good poems poets in the Soup, and elsewhere, so little time. Being with family and friends is important, too! :)

Finally, am back. Was trying to say yesterday… do not put your poetry down it is very good.. and I’d rather be an also ran with you, than running into front of the line with a crown. I already had my share of fame in my life and I don’t want anymore. Spotlight is a great place to be in.. was there. But time when you realize love, family, and country and God come first. Hilda, that sounds …perfect!..WHY! And Because you are honest! I see the worst poetry gushed over. That doesnt help a poet at all. Your comment is astoundingly honest .better to say what you did, than blow smoke! Pangie.

I get it, Pangie. If and when I retire, I will certainly try my best to keep up with commenting, I don't know how people have so much time to comment on so many poems/poets. Being with family and friends takes up a lot of my time, for sure. But one thing I can guarantee you, is that I won't be running in the snow (lol) Merry Christmas to you and your family. Bless you, for understanding.. If you type over 100 mph, and andwer in one word, like “Grear”, and sat nothing else, you cam comment to many,. I see that as pointless, why use wprds at all!! A comment is not an emoji. Its your analysis! Anyway, you are a people persin.we dont play the comment game with another. You dont know how you will feel. Things happen to us. Running in snow? Thats a NO for me. I can barely walk. But, am still kicking. With a young spirit. But no, not here to be a slave but to write as long as i can..happiest holiday wishes and kisses! Pangie

Hysterical David and what a word you are. I am sorry I haven’t read you for a few days. It’s funny I was just looking at going over to yoursite and you got to me fist. I was not ignoring you.. heaven forbid. And I’m glad I made people think. I want people to know they are bigger than they think they are.. The world tells us we don’t count. True, Pangie, we can't keep up with everyone. We pick our favorites and have some poetry friends, would be impossible to be friends with so many poets, not enough time. Great post! xxxx

Righto, Regina! Just do your besst, this, for me is a pietry site. One should not fribe and try to answer on their cell phone. Noor have a job and comment om work jours. One thingat a time. Learning new forms is great, write from the heart, always. Even if peope dont like it. So what? Marci Pangie. Please enjoy, life?

We are both in the same space! For me typing at 12 WPMplus hideous vision, its impossible tto be on here all day. But if people want to comment all day, we can sit on the sidelines and cheer them on.))) it does not mean we dont love our friends. Pangie

Hi sSara… Its already evening here. I have no idea what other people’s motives are. But I experiebce you as giving others space..,to comment or not Whats more,, you are a loving person…unafraid to be affectionate. I was not being facetious in the piem about reading well known piets daily. Plus reading books. That helps us morpph into better poets. Ask any famouus poet. Plus, we all have other happenings in our lives. Pangie

Oh Pangie. You comment a lot too. Haha. I remember when I first joined in 2010. I must have commented100 times a day. But it got way too hard to keep that pace. Now I am lucky to have time just to comment to people who came to my poetry. I do prefer when comments come from the heart and are not exaggerated. Now look at this. I ended up making a very long comment. Lol

But like hasmany doors to open, in other areas, too!you know, I am not only plating on this court.. I like variety in .where Ilive, physically and mentality .
