The Beautiful Smile

THE BEAUTIFUL SMILE They called her the lady with the beautiful smile She seemed to flash it all the while Welcome to Olivet we're glad you're here The church of warm welcome filled with cheer She had a way about her that was really contagious Her witness to others was soft, but courageous Her love for Jesus came shining through The lives she touched were more than a few She had no desire to sing in the choir Yet she sang with words unheard Her smile and her greeting were songs to admire And people's hearts were truly stirred She was never harsh, always kind Exhorting others with the Truth The lady possessing that beautiful smile Was none other than my sweet wife -- Ruth In honor and tribute to my wife who passed away on Monday, 3 November 2014
