The Beast Inside

Something inside is lingering to get out
Something inside wants to scream and shout

Could it be the anger of life?
Could it be that we have so many things
that result in countless amounts of strife?

The beast inside is wanting to get out
With each day surpassing
we all try to declare that we are happy

The beast inside...

Could it be anger, confusion, or something unimaginable?
Life would be more interesting if we could, perhaps, see the
     feelings that we feel

In time we would search
Search for something that might not even be there
How would we know what feeling this beast is?
How would we know if it contains some kind of complicity?

Each emotion has it's own definition
Each one outweighs the other either more or less
Not knowing if the beast will lose or gain its success

The beast inside is screaming out
Now hear it yell
Hear it shout
