The Banksters Lies

We fail to see before our eyes The banksters coruption and its lies. Sitting on their throwns, looking for a new country to plunder These leaders of men, send our sons into the thunder. With lines on a map we fell in their trap. They've used religion and money to enslaved us all The worlds for all of gods creatures, great and small This earth belongs to higher powers It is not mine, yours or ours. We do what we want and kill what we need Letting an animal live, became a good deed. As we've chopped cut and burned Gods green earth, we have not earned. We've missed lessons we should have learned This earth is not here purely for greed We must act now to ensure we succeed.

Glad to meet you Bleddyn. I enjoyed reading between the lines here to discover a deep faith in God. As I drowned the mouse which got caught in my glue trap last night, I rejoiced knowing I took it out of its misery. We would not understand the spiritual warfare taking place beyond our comprehension; but we are forewarned, act before it's too late. Enjoyable read.

Thank you :) really just trying to get the stuff out of my head... Is actually my first attempt at a poem since school about 15 years ago. I don't even know why I'm writing it to be honest.

Great poem, great message. I love how you used the word "lessons" here instead of mistakes. This poem forces a reader to question what change is needed, where the problem is, etc. We need more poems like this. Very universal and powerful. Thank you for sharing this, Bleddyn. I am excited to read more of your contributions. -- Wesley C.
