The Arcade of Love
The Arcade of Love
I've spent years running the same maze,
Eating dots with the old phantom right on
My stilettos .
Blinky with the what if's, Pinky with the almost.
Then you showed up and the whole arcade lit
Up.
I finally caught a power pellet and turned around.
Now we just run the maze together, two yellow
Mouths clearing it one corner at a time.
The maze breaks apart, half the screen turns
To lifeless
Two of us kept going anyway, the board ran
Out, We didn't.
