This poem, text only, is included in my latest Book/eBook ‘Clive’s Uni-Verse – A Cornishman’s take on life’.  ISBN13: 9781800743342 published by Olympia Publishers in Jan 2022.

The age of innocence, A daughter we adore, Long hot summer days, A toddler, only four. Tadpoles in a jam-jar, Watching as they wriggle, Nature being studied, Inviting her to giggle. Eyes filled with laughter, No clouds hide the sun, Happiness a toddler's gift, Enjoyed by everyone. Wide-eyed and innocent, To her, life's one big game, If only we could join her ... Be innocent, once again.

G'day Clive ... nicely written Clive. We all see ourselves in the happiness of our children, and like you wrote, wish we could be like that again - thanks Clive - Lindsay
