The Adventures of George

George’s club was the social centre which men of power desired to enter, and everyone knew that there could be no better place to talk and see power and influence at close hand with leaders abundant from every land. George, amiable and affable was he, as relaxed and friendly as could be, attired in white he looked, well, good, a proper leader concocting food, with ever a grace and persuasive smile that all who saw him did beguile. from The Adventures of George ©Blair Gowrie (Roderick Macdonald) http://www.macdonrod.com

George’s club may be the poetry centre of this world. An author of great talent is recognized easily when daily life becomes a poetical one, under his blessed pen . Also, when personal adventures become common recollections. So, welcome in the poetry adventures, dear friend. Best regards.

Thanks for your comments but this is only a small excerpt from my rollicking, humorous and satirical look at national leaders, politicians and celebrities in the form of a narrative poem. The Adventures of George. Read the whole story of more than 5,000 lines and meet exciting characters such as The Maximum Leader, Mustafa bin Maden, Didi Damin, Borrock Sobama and many more.
