The Beauty Within
There inside a man lies a real gem
But how unfortunate, this
Man does not see
It lies untouched like an untapped treasure
Its value surpasses the glory
Of the human face
And speaks better things
Than man's outward appearance
It is more precious than jewel
And sparkles better than finest gold
Through it is the real man revealed
And by it is life lived well
This is the unfading beauty
Of a gentle and quiet spirit
Oh how great is its worth
In God's sight!
