Matthew 5:43-44 You have heard that it have been said that shall love thy neighbor and hate their enemy but I say unto you love your enemies bless them that curse you do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.

That's Love

Though hurt,
He returned not hurt for hurt,
That's love
He gave pearls,
though trampled in the dirt,
That's love

His flesh ripped from His frame
for you and I,
But He cried "Father forgive them,"
before deciding to die.
That's love.

We stand up for our rights,
and defend our belief,
But He's coming again,
in the night like a thief.

Will we be ready,
will we make it in,
Our love walk every day
determines the Eternity we'll spend,

Walk away, or stand your ground,
what does it matter when,
What you say or how you react,
decides who makes it in.

Hell so terrible, we should not wish it
on anyone,
For the mere sake of something said,
or a deed to us done.

Jesus was marred and brutalized,
more than any man,
but for the sake of the cross,
He was determined to stand.
That's love.

He could have drew His sword,
defending His crown,
But for the sake of our souls,
He would not come down.
That's love

Let us pray for one another,
We face eternity everyday,
When love hurts,
Let us forgive,
hurt for hurt is not the way,

It's not worth missing heaven,
or causing our brother or sister to fall,
Jesus Christ, our example,
gave His life for us all.
Now that's love.
