That Rainy Day
We walked down the vineyard,
And you were close by my side,
Without saying a single word,
You slowly reached for my hand.
For a moment we were both quiet,
And the moment was so perfect.
I looked up the pretty clear sky,
And saw it become dark and cloudy,
Suddenly I was filled with delight,
When our hands found each other,
It came to me that we were alone,
And then you turned your face to mine,
I swear I could have jumped a step back,
When you leaned and your grip tightened,
As you said “lets hurry it’s gonna rain.”
I couldn’t believe it all just fade away.
