The New Year, that painted whore
  to whom we keep returning for more

     of the same, with no one to blame
     but ourselves, ~ Have we no shame?

That means I am affiliated with Yeshivas BRISK, which opened two centuries ago in Brest-Litovsk, (then Lithuania, now Belarus). This is really true, by the way. Today BRISK Yeshiva is in Jerusalem. There is a small one in Chicago as well, about two blocks from where I live. There you go... :) gw p.s., a Yeshiva is a Torah Academy, a Rabbinical School, if you will.
