11-14-23 -True Story ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanksgiving Joy Ride Thanksgiving turkey bought at the store Wow! Twenty-five pounds - maybe more! Ran out of stuffing There's no overstuffing! Pleas for open market implored. Fully stuffed turkey seen through oven door Ready to carve - aromas galore! Platter gets tipped! Turkey gets flipped! Bird takes a joy ride on the floor.

Great Limerick, Sam, this happens to someone, somewhere, every Thanksgiving I'm sure. I hope none of our friends have this experience this year. A poet friend in Texas, Bill
