Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving a joyous festival of harvest
Huge feast held by pilgrims of Plymouth
A beautiful day to give gratitude to God
November is the month marked for this
Kindness shown to one and all
Stuffed turkey adorns every feast table
Grace and communal church prayers
Inviting homes filled with fresh flowers
Various colourful wreaths hang on doors
Immensely decorative parades in town
Napkins folded perfectly for the feast
Geese, swan, venison, berries, watercress
Duck, fish, lobster, dried fruit, plum
Around the tables with bowed heads
Year after year the tradition goes on

this is excellent Tehera, so free flowing, a super skill in the acrostic form. Harry
