Thanksgiving day
Getting together
The family and with some friends
Sharing food, thoughts and kindred feelings
A union
With blessing
Life’s gift
Holding hands
Giving thanks
For the faith of our Father
And lifting up our thankful hearts
Deep tranquility
Still waters
Deep within
Filled to
The brim
Breaking the bread and sipping wine
With hope and peace for eternity
In happiness
His rewards
Thanksgiving day
