Thanksgiving

Some of us come from families large, some are an only child and, then again, some of us never had Family at all. With an absent father and a drunk mother it has been difficult to feel the word: Family All these roles like actors on a globe, the Mothers ... Fathers ... Sisters ... Brothers ... Aunts ... Uncles ... Cousins ... and precious Grandparents !! Now in my life I've arrived to a Soup Family by the Grace that knew just what I needed. What a wonderful surprise! May the Great Spirit bring blessings on this Our poetic Family. Thank You for whatever part you wish to be. As for me ... I'm just a Child on an endless journey in the Great Pumpkin Patch of life! So here's to cranberries and gravy too with lots of love from me to you! I'm beginning to feel like a Hallmark card LOL ... just truly glad to be here! Happy Holiday!

In the world of gratitude, this says it all. Family is what you make of it; where care is cheap, love is deep and what you sow is what you reap. Happy Holidays, Sue and to one and all; prosperity in the coming year. ~<><

Hi dear Sue, What a lovely poem honoring your soup family. I like how you honor "ALL" individual beliefs here. Smile, right back at you my friend. May the spirit that moves in all things that live make the holiday season very special for you and yours along with our soup family! Oh and I too, want to thank you for the honor of your most welcome comments and for steering me in the right direction as to couplet/verse. I sure do appreciate it, smile. Love Light Truth Patricia
