As they leave for unknown prevent places The shores of uncertainty slowly encroach Shadows of war apprehend and approach I am thankful for their fearless fervid faces && Besieged by battle, staggering with hunger && && Tyrannical turbulent seas wave after wave && &&&&&&&&&& I am thankful for the bonding bowing brave &&&&&&&&&& && Before the tearful hearts begin to slumber && && && && In their abrupt absence, we yieldingly yearn && && For once they came from a warmful womb && && Not to be captured by their tenebrous tomb && {@@@@@} I am thankful for their safe and rapid return. {@@@@@} We are truly thankful... Wonderful friend, ^WW^, you have touched my heart to the very core with this write. As a Vietnam Vet, I can look back at previous wars and look ahead to the wars we are presently in and see the very essence of God's Mighty Arm as it has stretched over the centuries it has taken to build this great nation called America and I am proud to be an American.
