Thankful Streams of Thought
As they leave for unknown prevent places
The shores of uncertainty slowly encroach
Shadows of war apprehend and approach
I am thankful for their fearless fervid faces
&& Besieged by battle, staggering with hunger &&
&& Tyrannical turbulent seas wave after wave &&
&&&&&&&&&& I am thankful for the bonding bowing brave &&&&&&&&&&
&& Before the tearful hearts begin to slumber &&
&& &&
&& In their abrupt absence, we yieldingly yearn &&
&& For once they came from a warmful womb &&
&& Not to be captured by their tenebrous tomb &&
{@@@@@} I am thankful for their safe and rapid return. {@@@@@}
We are truly thankful...
