Thank You, Kind Poet
This morning I woke and found a gift for me,
not tied in fancy ribbons, nor under my tree.
It was a shiny golden emblem, a premium star
graciously given by a kind poet, and if you are
reading this, thank you so humbly and kindly.
This is a display of friendship we should show
each other. A kindness that made my tears FLO.
You have a generous nature, so to you I impart,
"Thank you, sweet poet, from my grateful heart."
May your poetry set the hearts of others aglow!
