Thank You, God
Thank you, God – for all you’ve done…
Blessings sent down from heaven above,
Beautiful treasures in friendships and love,
Joyous dreams awakened with sweetest hope,
Feelings that can only be described as truly sincere,
The wonders of knowing that good hearts live.
Thank you, God – for the miracles you’ve given me….
Joys that fill my life with gentle compassions,
Creativity that lasts beyond the moment or creation,
Small gestures of acceptance that fill me with inspiration,
Soft thoughts that fill me up with warm, enjoyable sensations,
Enlivening my spirit with all the insights into loving that erases…
All worries and fears, the greatest feelings of weariness.
Thank you, God – for filling me full of love that is so alive.
It creates a hope inside that brings my heart so much grace.
It lifts me up when I’ve fallen down and fell amid the troubles.
It guides me through the storms that seek to hinder my aspirations.
It gives me second chances to feel all the joy that life can bring me.
It is a love that makes my life into a wonderful wish come true…
Filling me with anticipation for all the brings so much more.
Thank you, God – for guiding me through the roughest seas,
Ensuring me that I would be coming out above the treacherous waves…
And learning to lean on You, sweet Lord, for all that my heart yearns for.
Thank you, God – for bringing me through the darkest moments I’ve seen,
Allowing me to touch the edge of heaven with your mighty hand,
And seeing me through to the bright and vibrant shore or toleration.
Thank you, God – for loving me when I couldn’t possibly love myself,
For reaching out and taking my hand when I didn’t understand.
And for giving me the opportunity to love with all that my heart can give.
Thank you, God – for YOUR Love!
Love that makes me feel worthwhile,
Alive and aware… that love is the answer
To every question, worry or prayer.
