Thank You, Caring Poets

For those of you who've written
  of Ukraine's unspeakable woe
My wife* and I, we thank you
from our heads down to our toes

From those who've lost their homes
and a dear one, if not two
We both want you to know
  your caring raises Hope anew

*My wife is from Kharkiv, Ukraine. She
has seen her own apartment building
and workplace utterly destroyed, as
well as many close friends exiled, and
a couple perish. She is in close contact
with those who have reached Poland,
and I can assure you that your words
of comfort -- as well as condemnation
of Putin and Russia -- touch their hearts.

Gershon you have no idea how sad I AM FOR YOUR WIFE AND YOU. My heart goes out to you both - what this evil person needs to be done to him, is that he be thrown out in the cold, naked in Siberia with no hope of obtaining a stitch of clothing, and freeze to death! I am horrified by what is going on and cannot understand how a second Hitler was slowly brewing his horrid plot, manipulating his own people and killing thousands of innocent people. The real effect of KARMA, he will know! HUGS, JP.

I am so sad about the Ukranian situation! They have impressed the world with their resilience and resolve!

They certainly have impressed the world - except for those infernal suits and ties in Washington D.C. and Western Europe.

I stand solidly in support of Ukraine, as you know, gw. I had no idea you had these close ties with the country. It is good to know....three degrees of separation, methinks.

Gershon, I stand in support of Ukraine. How painful for your wife to see those places where she once lived and loved, now being destroyed. I suppose with all the bounty that is on Putin's head. His time on this earth will be very short. Sending prayers and hugs to you and your family. Blessings ~ Debra

Whatever time Putin's got left, you'd think he'd have something better to do than murder innocent civilians. :) gw

We stand with you both and everyone else affected by this conflict. We eagerly await the day when Ukraine will shine triumphantly again! That the Ukrainian people have been attacked and killed in such a horrible manner is very horrifying! To those who reside in Kharkiv, who have lost so much but will never lose their beautiful city, my deepest wishes.

Hello Gershon, It is horrible what is happening in Ukraine. I do not like what is happening to everyone there. Especially the children and the babies. Putin is a very sick man to do this to his own people. My heart aches. Your friend, Darlene

We stand and support Ukraine and its proud people. I wish no ill to anyone but would make an exception to vlad the Rat Putin, a murdering scumbag. Tom

We stand beside both of you and everyone else sadly affected Gershon, beyond the moment we all see Ukraine rise again with a Triumphant Glow! Peace...ab

Let's hope so, Anselmo. It's gonna take quite a while to dig out and rebuild Ukraine. Thanks, gw

I feel for both of you especially your wife Gershon. It is indeed a trauma hearing of the cruel attacks on Ukraine's settlements and innocent lives and their relentless misery !
