Ten Words Ten Lines 2

TEN WORDS, TEN LINES 2

She possessed a baroque sense of the love of music
Her avant-garde anomaly led to a cacophony of laughter
Her misconceived dilettante for this great art
Was put forth with great aplomb
Truly an elan display producing an ennui of de ja vu
Predicated on her previous display of the art
Though she thought it a bona fide display of great talent
And that she deserved carte blanche freedom in displaying it
She was soon laughed off the stage as a complete buffoon
For the degradation of the wonderful art of music

Thanks, Line. The challenge of 10 specific words to be woven into a poem is somewhat fun to do. Good to hear from you. I appreciate your support.

Well done, Curtis, and a bizarre coincidence to find two entries about pianists, you must have ESP. Congrats! Regards, Viv

Thanks, Viv! I'm not sure about the ESP but I wouldn't rule it out entirely. Thanks for your support, encouragement, and Soup friendship. I am pleased at the number of people who lend their support and encouragement to others in such a willing way as you. Much appreciated.

Thank you so much for my placement in the contest. It presented a definite challenge but was fun to do. I look forward to more such contests to help me grow as a poet.

Oh, you did the challenge SO cleverly. It is very difficult for me to use overly elegant words this way. i feel kind of silly to do it, but do it i must (hopefully soon, before the contest fills up. haha) Love the ending on this one.

Thanks, Andrea. My vocabulary sometimes surprises me but when it is suggested that one use certain words, I get beside myself in the effort to use the term but have it make sense. Glad you liked it. By the way, I am enjoying your book beyond measure. Thanks for your kindness.
