THE QUINTESSENCE OF BITTERSWEET
Oh the quintessence of bittersweet, a passionate love mixed with pain, immolation that burns higher and higher, to a tactile reddening, of face to feet. Oh the ambivalent joy of holding hands and slapping cheeks - our arcane moments. You shudder with flamboyant majesty - only your quiescent soulmate understands. At your birth, the great intercessor, created your luscious eyes and lips, so urgent, they plea, in kind with mine, and embrace my love. Our God, so pleased at a doppelgänger pair, thus we were fated.

Marvelous poem, Kim. You composed the poem around the selected words with such a pretty natural flow. I love it.

Though there are two words in this challenge I need to look up, it seems to me that you did a mighty fine job weaving them in naturally. And the content is beautiful, it touched me ... CayCay
