Temptation Itches On All Living Things
My new husband and I were out gardening one day,
not quite over our honeymoon and wanting to play,
the humidity sweltering down on us along with the suns rays,
we both got undressed and rolled around in the hay,
Before we knew it we were both breaking out in hives,
completely forgetting about the dreaded poison ivy,
itching and scratching and now both of us feeling mean,
learning the hard way temptation itches on all living things.
