Indeed, but how devastated can their results be! Very well written Haiku, James! Looks like we are reading each other's poetry at the same time. How cool! Best wishes, Caroline.

Good one, James. DO you do many haiku? I rarely attempt one. I am just no good at it. But I am glad you liked my senryu. Luv ya, andrea

Fitting for the recent event in Haiti. What a tragedy. So many lives lost is such a short time. Lets pray the help that they are receiving truly makes a difference in that country. Keep on writing. Karen

After the smaller version we experienced in No Calif. last weekend...(although a 6.5...which did 3 million dollars damage to the coastal towns)..... Californians still feel BLESSED. Please, everyone, let us all send dollars to help the Haitians. Whatever one can spare...and of course our prayers.

Outstanding, timely haiku, James. Didn't think Haiti could be hit by an earthquake, but it just goes to show you how little we know about the underground earth activity. Guess we are all potential targets. Excellent work here! Much love, Carolyn

Devastation left in their aftermath if very strong. Neat short explanation. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and reading my poems of late and commenting. Sara
