Tell me again, I need to know

"The future of life on Earth depends on our ability to see the sacred where others see only the common."- Quote by John Denver --------------------------------------------------- on the theme of WHOSE GARDEN WAS THIS? OCTOBER 1970, JOHN DENVER ALBUM -------------------------------------- This garden was once lovely The forest had tall trees The meadows were opulent green The oceans were true blue This garden was once lovely They called it mother earth She smelled of rain in air Her breath soft terpene Rivers now don’t flow freely Soil is now not brown rich Smoke now chases away blues Hills now don’t stand still This garden was once lovely Mother Earth was once healthy Future shall forget the past The present is too brittle to be true
