Teenage Whistlers and Baby Strollers

The lifeguard is whistling again- Pretending not to hear i dive in headlong He approaches me from the shore's end Stating words that rhyme like seagulls in my head Walking further through the crowdy mass i'm wondering how many people rushed in traffic So they could finally relax in sand For me life is beating hard with every breath A newlywed is struggling to push her two babies Up the sandy hill it looks like it will take all day When i offer to push, she gushes A flurry of romance spills from her eyes Telling me about her absent husband I'm wondering about rules of etiquette I go back on my sandy towel Listening to voices impress the air A budlight helicopter not to far off Closer inland, the traffic is madness I serenade the passagers as i pass by Bicycle through the city Like a Japanese school boy Its all fun and games When you catch the right waves
